Patrick Clancy returned home to find his wife severely injured in the yard and the children unresponsive in the basement; Cora and Dawson died that day, while Callan died three days later at Boston Children’s Hospital. Lindsay Clancy, who survived the fall but remains paralyzed from the waist down, was charged with three counts of first-degree murder.

On Day 3 of proceedings (July 30, 2026) in Commonwealth v. Lindsay Clancy, the prosecution called ten first responders—comprising Duxbury police officers, firefighters, EMTs, and paramedics—to establish the physical crime scene, initial medical interventions, and victim conditions on January 24, 2023. Summary Of Testimony
Dougherty testified that upon arriving at the scene, he found Lindsay on the ground with lacerations to her neck and both wrists, which were not actively bleeding. He personally bandaged her wrists. On redirect examination, he stated he did not know whether her neck and wrist lacerations were ever sutured.
