Robert Telles Trial On Sauce & Order
Recap Video Coming Soon – TBA at end of Sauce & Order season.
Current Status: Guilty Verdict on all counts.
Case Summary
An ambush-style murder of 69-year-old Jeff German, a veteran investigative reporter for the Las Vegas Review-Journal occurred on 2nd September 2022. German had spent months reporting on widespread workplace misconduct, bullying, and an illicit extramarital affair involving Telles, who was the elected Clark County Public Administrator; German’s investigative exposes directly ruined Telles’s political career, causing him to lose his Democratic primary reelection bid in June 2022. Hours after German submitted new public records requests for follow-up reporting, he was attacked and stabbed 13 times outside his Las Vegas home by an assailant wearing a wide straw sun hat and an orange high-visibility vest who arrived in a maroon GMC Yukon. The Clark County jury rejected Telles’s conspiracy claims and found him guilty of First-Degree Murder, resulting in a prison sentence of at least 28 to 50 years to life.
